Inspired by iconic Caffe Florian‘s “Infusion Sunset in Venice”, this superfood caffeine-free herbal tea is tasty and exceptionally nutritious. It features hibiscus, rosehip, and marigold, all are rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory substances. A hint of cinnamon is simply brilliant. It toned down the sharpness and replace it with a warm taste and flavor. The splash of orange peel elevates and enhances the flavor.

The beautiful bright magenta of this herbal tea, thanks to hibiscus and rosehip, is also an eye-catching enjoyment.

We had the pleasure of visiting Caffe Florian, established in 1720 and dubbed the world’s oldest coffee house around the 2023 New Year. It was an amazing experience to see those beautiful ornate decorations while enjoying the iconic refreshments.

The Infusion Sunset in Venice Herbal Tea is the caffeine-free herbal tea I ordered for my teenage boys while we were there. We absolutely enjoyed it. I know I would develop a recipe as soon as I return home so that can have this incredible floral herbal tea on a daily base, which I did and can’t wait to share with you.

Why this Sunset Venice Herbal Tea is a superfood?

The three key ingredients of this classic infused floral herbal tea are hibiscus flowers, rosehip, and marigold flowers.

Hibiscus flower fun facts

Hibiscus is a warm-climate flowering plant that is common throughout the world. The flowers come in various colors, with bright red being the most seen. However, you will also find golden yellow, pink or white hibiscus flowers.

Also known as roselle or sorrel, hibiscus contains many varieties of species. For example, one type of hibiscus popular in China is an annual magenta flower called “Mei Gui Qie” {玫瑰茄} or “Luo Shen Hua” {洛神花} in Chinese.

Since ancient times, people have been using hibiscus in food and traditional medicine. Hibiscus flowers are extremely rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory substances. They are known to effectively lower blood pressure and cholesterol level while helping remove toxins and promote liver health.

As a result, this amazing flower also supports weight loss and improves skin texture and complexion. This makes this infused flower tea the No.1 anti-aging herbal tea.

Rosehip has incredible anti-aging power

You might be wondering what is rosehip. They are the accessory fruit of a wild rose bush called Rosa Canina, typically grown in Europe and Asia. Rosehip is extremely rich in vitamins C, E, and B, and bountiful other antioxidants and minerals.

By the way, I also incorporate rosehip oil in my anti-aging serum. The high concentration of vitamin C helps reduce the signs of aging around the eyes and mouth areas. Vitamin A delays the effects of skin aging, assists with cell regeneration, and promotes collagen and elastin levels.

It takes no time to blend a powerful anti-aging serum made with mother nature’s most potent oils. Check out the recipe here.
