Tips for super creamy homemade toothpaste
Scraping coconut oil in thin layers using a stainless steel spoon is the ultimate secret behind creamy toothpaste. Coconut oil remains solid at room temperature below 80 Fahrenheit-degree or about 27 Celsius-degree. When making toothpaste, DO NOT try to heat it up to soften it or turn it into liquid.
Instead, use a stainless steel spoon, patiently scrape a thin layer of coconut oil at a time. This way, the coconut oil turns into a cream. Keep scrapping till you have a spoonful of creamy coconut oil.

Add the creamy coconut oil into the glass measuring cup and repeat the process until you have 100 grams of coconut oil.

Blend coconut oil cream and baking soda together
Once you have 100 grams of creamy coconut oil, add 55 grams of baking soda into the glass measuring cup.

Use a mini silicone spatula to fold, mix and scrape off the wall and fully blend the two together.
