You will need raw walnut halves, Himalayan pink salt, and freshly ground black pepper.
How to Roast Walnuts Quick, Easy, and Yummy?
Roasting walnuts over the stovetop in a cast iron wok perhaps is the quickest, easiest, and tastiest way to make roasted walnuts.
Turn the heat to high and heat the wok for 2 minutes. Then turn the heat to medium and add the walnuts to the wok. Spread the walnuts along the inside of the wok and sprinkle 1/8 tsp Himalayan pink salt and 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper in a circular motion on top of the walnuts. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
Following that, use a pair of bamboo or wooden spatulas to frequently toss and mix, for about 3-4 minutes, or till you notice burnt marks start to appear on some walnuts.
All done! Remove the walnuts from the wok, and place them on a plate, spread them out to cool down before storing them in an air-tight glass container. Enjoy a naturally yummy healthy roasted walnut.

Ingredients
- 165 g raw walnut halves, about 2 cups
- 1/8 tsp Himalayan pink salt, or salt of your choice
- 1/8 tsp black pepper, freshly ground, optional
Instructions
- Turn the heat to high and heat the wok for 2 minutes.
- Turn the heat to medium and add the raw walnuts into the wok, and sprinkle 1/8 tsp Himalayan pink salt and 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper. Spread out the walnut evenly along the inside of the wok and let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Following that, turn the heat to low and frequently toss and mix using a pair of bamboo or wooden spatulas, for about 3-4 minutes, or till you notice some walnuts start to show burnt marks.
- All done! Remove the walnuts from the wok, and place them in a plate or baking pan to cool down before storing them in an air-tight glass container.

Notes
